Spectators

  • Races may be observed ONLY from the eastside riverbanks and walks. Due to safety concerns from the police, no standing or observing of the races will be allowed from the Fishinger Road Bridge or from the private property along the westside riverbanks.
  • Finish line is located roughly at the Scioto Boat Club Docks.
  • Food vendor MoJo TaGo will be available throughout the day for spectators looking for a bite to eat.
  • Haxton Invitational T-Shirt’s are available the day of the regatta and also for presale until October 10th.
  • Hospitality Tent tickets can be purchased at the T-shirt tent for $20. The tent is hosted by the Past UA Crew Presidents and offers premium seating at the finish line, a live feed of the start, private Rent-A-John, shelter from the weather, and light refreshments. Ticket purchase allows for re-admittance throughout the day. (Please no private camp chairs) All proceeds benefit the Haxton Scholarship Fund.
  • Results will be posted at the recovery docks and the Shelter House Number 3 (close to Launch docks)
  • Haxton Coordinators will be located throughout venue in the event any assistance is needed. They can be identified by the orange vests with the Haxton Logo they will be wearing. Any coordinator should be able to assist you as they have contact numbers for all areas of the regatta and maps of the venue.
  • Medical Services are located at the Recovery Dock area, Shelter House #1. There are also medical personnel in launches throughout the 5K race.
  • Regatta Information and Lost and Found are located in the Recovery Dock area.
  •  The Haxton Regatta organizers, UA Crew and City of Columbus are all committed to working towards a greener environment for us all. New to this year’s regatta you will find recycling containers beside all the trash receptacles throughout the venue.  Please take a moment to put any recyclables in the provided containers instead of tossing them into the trash.
